Welcome

WoBusu is a conceptual grounding for African Diasporic expression. Currently a collaborative blog and unisex accessories line, WoBusu literally translates as a “made up word for family”. But it’s more than that.

It’s about the ways we show up for and support one another in the diaspora, the way family ought to do.

It’s about celebrating all of our existence from the highs found in the beautiful banality of hairdressing and undisputed style to even the traumatic lows of our differences.

WoBusu is another word for “Fam” and we hope you feel at home here. Reach out if you want to contribute to the blog, download one of the Spotify playlists, help show love to the artists and artisans working with WoBusu at the Shop, or best yet—donate to the autoimmune disease awareness organizations that we love.

Thanks for stopping by, Fam.
